Jeff Jorgensen, DVM

Chief of Staff

Doctor Jorgensen serves as the veterinary director of the regional animal shelter (10 years running). Through the local governing entities he has been able to provide veterinary care for multiple homeless animals in San Marcos and Hays County.

Doctor J and his wife Terri are avid scuba divers and frequently travel to a variety of Caribbean dive sites. Hobbies include adventure motorcycle riding, scuba, and racquetball. His two daughters both attended San Marcos High School and graduated from Texas State. Presently there are three grandkids spread throughout the world. Thank goodness for Skype!

Doctor Jorgensen is also very active in Christian veterinary missions in Honduras. Having grown up in Venezuela, he always wondered how he could merge what he felt were the God-given gifts he had-veterinary skills and fluent in Spanish. He is able to use those gifts on his annual Honduras trip. His wife Terry and he team up with a group of veterinarians that spread the gospel and provide public health and animal health services to impoverished communities in the Coffee Mountains. In the course of one week each year, the team vaccinates over 6,000 animals.
